Public advertisement for student loan and Halls of residence is placed once a year by the Ministry of Education.
APPLICATION FOR HALLS OF RESIDENCE
The students who study out of their place of living, have Montenegrin citizenship or are foreign students with permanent address in Montenegro, have enrolled the semester for the first time and have not changed their study programme, are eligible to apply to the advertisement.
Available places are assigned commonly to the number of enrolled students from public and private HE institutions. If number of applicants is higher than that of available places, the advantage is given to the students with better GPA from the previous study year.
APPLICATION FOR STUDENT LOAN
The number of granted loans is also reciprocal to the number of students enrolled at public and private HE institutions, which varies from year to year. The right to apply for student loan is given to undergraduate and specialist students of academic and applied studies at HE institutions who have Montenegrin citizenship or are foreign students with permanent address in Montenegro, have enrolled the semester for the first time and have not changed their study programme. If number of applicants is higher than that of available places, the advantage is given to the students with better GPA from the previous study year. The students whose parents or custodians get social welfare have the same rights in sense of advantage of success. The amount of loan depends on achieved success, i.e GPA from the previous study year.
The right to student loan is not given to:
- students who have not fulfilled the conditions predicted by the Statute of the HE institution in previous study year,
- students who have changed study programme,
- students whose GPA is lower than 6.00.
