In the qualification process, the general success at the graduation exam, ie the completion of secondary education, is assessed as a general condition for enrollment.
Additional conditions for enrollment are evaluated:
general success at the completion of individual grades of secondary education;
success from two subjects from the third and fourth grade of secondary education, of importance for mastering the study program;
success on a differential exam (if needed);
diploma "Luča" or an equivalent diploma.
The general success at the matura exam, ie at the end of secondary education, is calculated as follows:
- Excellent (5) 5 points;
- Very good (4) 4 points;
- Good (3) 3 points;
- Satisfactory (2) 2 points.
For those who did not have a graduation (final) examination as a grade at the matura (final) exam, the overall success of the final year of high school is taken into account.
Diploma "Luča"
The diploma "Luča A" awarded in accordance with Art. 2 and 5 of the Luča Diploma Regulation (Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro, No. 21/97), or its equivalent diploma, is awarded with five (5) points.
The diploma "Luča B", which is awarded in accordance with Art. 3 and 5 of the Luča Diploma Regulation (Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro, No. 21/97), or its equivalent diploma is scored with three (3) points.
Ranking
On the basis of the points accumulation, a unique ranking of the IIST is formed for all participants in the competition. For foreign students, a special ranking list is formed.
Entry into the university programs of the University shall be made on the basis of the achieved results, in accordance with this Rulebook, published on the ranking list.
Candidates with the same number of points earn the right to enroll under equal conditions.
