The Faculty of Information Technology established a cooperation with the reputable informatics company JetBrains , which is the developer of many programing tools such as PhpStorm, WebStorm and InteliJIdea, that are being used by more than 16 million programmers from all around the world. The Faculty obtained the right to 50 licenses that apply to all products developed by JetBrains and are to be used in educational purposes during the summer semester course “Web Technologies” while also there is a plan in motion to use these programming tools in other courses which cover the topics of web and mobile applications.
In doing so, the Faculty of Information Technology continues the trend of cooperating with famous informatics companies, as was the case in the past with companies such as Oracle, Autodesk and IBM.
