Staša Jovanović, a student of the Faculty of Information Technology at the University “Mediterranean” in Podgorica, has been awarded the Capital City of Podgorica Student Award for 2025, granted for outstanding academic achievement in the 2024/2025 academic year.
The decision to confer the award was made by the Commission for the Awarding of the Capital City of Podgorica Student Award, based on exceptional academic results. In the previous academic year, Staša Jovanović successfully passed all examinations with a perfect grade point average of 10.00 in the Information Technology study programme.
The award ceremony was held on the occasion of 19 December – the Day of Liberation of Podgorica, a date traditionally marked by the Capital City through the recognition of excellence, knowledge, and the achievements of young generations. The Student Award is one of the most prestigious recognitions granted to students for exceptional academic performance and their contribution to the development of knowledge and society.
This recognition is of particular importance both for the student and for the Faculty of Information Technology, as it confirms the quality of the teaching process, dedication to academic work, and a continuous commitment to fostering academic excellence.
