The Ministry of Science of Montenegro, based on the opinion of a panel of international experts who evaluated the applications for the ‘Competition for the award of national scholarships within the capacity building program for the SEEIIST project’ selected teaching and research assistant at the Faculty of Information Technology, Ivan Knezevic, M.Sc. from two winners of a scholarship to stay in one of the largest and most prestigious scientific research institutions in the world – the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva.
The scholarship refers to the field of processing large amounts of data in distributed cloud computing systems and modeling for intelligent decision-making in order to build a common platform for sharing medical data using the cloud and network computing technologies.
In line with international recommendations and measures regarding the current situation caused by the Covid19 pandemic, the start of work at CERN is expected in September.
