Successfully implemented COIL project

During the winter semester, the second-year students of the Faculty of Information Technology participated in the COIL project as part of the English Language 3 course with the students of LaGuardia Community College from New York, and under the mentorship of the subject teacher Žana Knežević. COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) is a program that allows students and lecturers from American universities to exchange knowledge and skills with colleagues from around the world as part of regular curricula (http://coil.suny.edu/).

Students of the two faculties presented the culture, customs, habits, life of young people, and cultural and historical places of Montenegro and New York through mutual communication. The end result of the project is a blog that they co-created and presented the topics they dealt with (https://wordpress.com/view/tourismmontenegronyc.wordpress.com). All project participants received certificates of successful implementation of the project.
