FIT representatives participated in Mobility Week in Sweden

During Mobility Week, held from June 2 to 6 at Mälardalen University, representatives of the Faculty of Information Technology took part in Erasmus+ ICM project activities alongside colleagues from 18 universities across 13 countries. As part of the event, our faculty was successfully presented to the host and other partner institutions, and the collaboration with Mälardalen University was further strengthened and expanded through new joint initiatives.

At the same time, our master’s students who spent this academic year on exchange in Sweden successfully defended their master’s theses before an international committee, with the presence and support of our faculty representatives. The topics of the theses were:

  • Exploring how Citizen Developers use YouTube to learn in the context of Software Engineering – Maša Pejović and Nikola Vasović
  • Designing an interactive tool for improving the public understanding of software engineering principles – Miloš Drobnjak
  • Software smells in machine learning systems – Andrija Sekulić and Gjovani Čotaj
  • Generating SYSMLV2 models from structured natural language – Petar Đukić
  • Test augmentation using LLMS for industrial PLC control software – Aleksa Savković
  • Developing and evaluating passive testing for Volvo construction equipment’s embedded system – Aleksandra Nicaj

This mobility once again confirms the importance of international cooperation in enhancing the quality of education and providing opportunities for students and faculty to develop their knowledge in an international context.
