Interactive Career Training (ICT) Successfully Completed

The Faculty of Information Technology at the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica has successfully completed the Interactive Career Training (ICT) programme, providing participants with the opportunity to enhance their professional knowledge and skills through a two-month internship, hands-on experience, mentorship, and real-world business challenges.

Throughout the two-month internship, participants worked alongside experienced IT professionals, applied their academic knowledge to practical tasks, and gained valuable insight into modern business processes. Their dedication, motivation, and outstanding results once again demonstrated the importance of strengthening collaboration between higher education and industry.

The programme was enriched through the support of partner companies Čikom, B-One Solutions, Synergy Suite, EndCode i IT Advanced Services, which welcomed participants into their organizations and provided internship opportunities in a professional environment. This experience enabled participants to develop practical competencies and gain valuable industry experience highly appreciated in today’s labour market.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the mentors Mladen Bukilić, Milo Piper, Uroš Veličković, Saša Rakočević, and Ivan Bošković, whose expertise, guidance, and continuous support played a key role in the success of the programme. The mentors also expressed their appreciation for the participants’ commitment, professionalism, and remarkable progress throughout the training.

The programme strongly aligns with the objectives of the HMI2Market project, which promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, stronger collaboration between higher education institutions and industry, and the development of market-oriented ideas and solutions. By supporting initiatives such as this, the project contributes to strengthening innovation capacity, fostering entrepreneurial thinking, and equipping young talents with the practical skills needed to succeed in today’s innovation-driven economy.

The programme was supported through the HMI2Market project, which aims to enhance the innovation capacity of higher education institutions and create an environment that encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, knowledge transfer, and closer cooperation with industry.

The Interactive Career Training programme was implemented within the Call for the Implementation of Educational Programmes in the Smart Specialisation Areas of Montenegro, with the support of the Innovation Fund of Montenegro.
