
On the occasion of the International Girls in ICT Day, the Faculty of Information Technology at “Mediterranean” University Podgorica is organizing the third competition for high school girls, which will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Faculty premises.
We are pleased to highlight that the response to this year’s call for participation has been exceptionally strong. Over 30 teams from 11 Montenegrin municipalities have registered, confirming the growing interest of girls in technology and their desire to actively participate in the digital future.

The students had the opportunity to meet and connect with one another, and through a series of informative sessions and hands-on workshops, they were introduced to the Thunkable platform (https://thunkable.com/), which will be used in this year’s competition. They also had the chance to further develop their knowledge and skills in information technologies, as well as in presenting their ideas. For the other registered teams, an online training link and a recorded session were made available. The competition itself will be a great opportunity for participants to showcase their creativity, curiosity, and talent for technology through practical tasks and teamwork.
All registered teams will gather at 9:30 AM at the premises of “Mediterranean” University Podgorica, while the main event will begin at 10:00 AM. Before the competition starts, successful women from the ICT sector will share short messages with the participants.
